Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce Committees

The Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce committees provide members with meaningful opportunities to get involved, build relationships, and help shape programs that support our local business community.  Whether you're interested in networking, education, advocacy, or events, there is a place for you to plug in.

Membership Committee

Oversees the Chamber's membership development and marketing efforts, including strategic alignment with the Ambassador Program.  This committee helps guide membership growth, engagement, and retention by providing input on outreach strategy, messaging, and the overall member experience.

Great for: Strategic thinkers, relationship builders, and members interested in shaping membership growth and engagement.

 

Education Committee

Develops educational programs for Chamber members by identifying relevant topics, partnering with businesses and subject-matter experts, and supporting workshops, panels, and learning opportunities that deliver practical value.

Great for: Subject-matter experts, connectors, mentors, and lifelong learners.

 

Signature Events Committee

Supports the planning and execution of the Chamber's signature annual events, including the Murphy Awards and Art & Wine Festival, with openness to proposing and shaping future signature events.  This committee plays a key role in event strategy, logistics support, sponsorship coordination, and on-site execution.

Great for: Event planners, volunteer leads, organizers, creatives, and hands-on contributors.

 

Program Committee

Oversees the Chamber's ongoing events and programs, including mixers and recurring member programs.  This committee helps ensure programs support member engagement and align with the Chamber's overall goals.  Members provide guidance on program mix and outreach to help maximize participation and impact.

Great for: Strategic planners, organizers, and members interested in shaping the Chamber's regular programming.

 

Business & Policy Committee

Addresses regional business issues, public policy, and advocacy efforts that impact the Sunnyvale business community.  This committee provides a forum for high-level discussion and engagement with elected officials and policy leaders.

Participation is limited to members enrolled in the Business & Policy membership tier.

Great for: Business leaders and policy-focused members.
