Nayiri Baghdassarian is the California Government Relations, State and Local Representative for Lockheed Martin.
Ms. Baghdassarian has a long career working in the realm of politics and government relations. Â Prior to joining Lockheed Martin in December 2024, Nayiri worked as the Director of Public Policy for the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership where she worked as the primary liaison between the organization and government officials and oversaw all advocacy and engagement efforts supporting the economic and workforce development for the 31 cities of San Gabriel Valley. Â During her time at the Partnership, Ms. Baghdassarian was awarded and recognized as Assemblywoman Blanca Rubio's 48th Assembly District's 2023 Woman of the Year - Rising Leader.
From 2019-2022, Ms. Baghdassarian worked for the California State Assembly as a Senior Outreach Consultant for the Bay Area. Â She worked on outreach campaigns regarding legislation and constituent communication for State Assemblymembers. Â She also previously worked for the California State Senate as a field representative for the 22nd Senate District (LA Area) in 2018. Â During her time there, Ms. Baghdassarian focused on constituent services by hosting various community resource events. Â Prior to her work in the State, Ms. Baghdassarian had a robust career in working and managing political campaigns at the local and statewide levels.
In her early years, Ms. Baghdassarian spent much of her time as an athlete, volunteering, and serves as a leader for the Homenetmen Western Region Inland Empire Scout Chapter. Â Nayiri holds an associate's degree in psychology from Citrus College, a bachelor's degree in political science from California State University, Long Beach, and a Master of Arts in public policy from Claremont Graduate University.
