Meet Rachel Tirosh:  Recovering Engineer, Abstract Artist, & Small Business Owner

Made In Sunnyvale: A Series Dedicated To Our Creators & Community Builders

After working as an electrical engineer for over 20 years, Rachel Tirosh decided to shift her focus to a new industry: abstract art.  Our interns recently had the opportunity to learn a bit about her and her fascinating story with an interview at her home studio.

You’ve got to check out the art at RG Partnerships. Rachel Tirosh’s abstract art is beautiful, and she takes pleasure in creating art that utilizes raw materials seen in her daily routine. Her mediums include everyday objects and common household items such as maps and mesh from potato sacks.

At the beginning of her career, Tirosh created pieces using polymer clay. After, she discovered her passion for painting. Now, she focuses on using texture and color combinations on canvas to create an abstract work.

Rachel has expanded her brand through participating in art shows, fairs, and art contests. However, she expresses her request for more support in her own community.

“I wish a lot of things would happen in Sunnyvale...I wish there was a place for artists to have exhibitions” Rachel continues to attend art showcases throughout the region. In case your miss her at a showcase, you can find her Website and On-line store right here!  www.RachelTirosh.com
