Community Promotions Committee
Thank you for all your generous donations this holiday season!

Ways to Help the Community This Holiday Season
There are many ways to support the community this holiday season, so the Chamber's Community Promotions Committee has put together a list of resources to help businesses choose the right activity.
Sunnyvale Community Services provides food, financial aid, and other emergency assistance to low-income families and seniors to prevent homelessness and hunger.
Chamber members are encouraged to bring a new toy, teen gift or bag of food to the 12/3 mixer and auction at SCS.
Toys For Tots wishes to deliver a message of hope (through a new toy at Christmas) to needy children in the hope that it will help them grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
Chamber members may drop off a new, unwrapped toy at one of the following locations:
- Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce Office
- State Farm Insurance Sunnyvale (Suzette Elliott)
- INTERO Real Estate (Linda Soto)
- Rok Bistro (Steve Graham)
- Contact Paula Keane for other locations
Family Giving Tree works with Host Companies to grant the holiday wish for a child in need. There's still time to sign up as a Host Company!
Food Donations are Needed Too
Second Harvest Food Bank is the best way to help by dropping off non-perishable food donations at any of the following locations:
- Cassandra Mason, DC
- Sports Basement
- Sunnyvale Chiropractic Group
- Christian Lund, DC
Support Network is in need of Turkeys for its members. Please bring fresh or frozen turkeys by Wednesday, November 25 to Support Network at 1257 Tasman Dr Sunnyvale. For more information, please contact Paula Keene.
Other Ways to Help
In addition to food or gift donations during the holidays, consider volunteering at a local shelter or nonprofit or help out throughout the year. We know there are many more deserving organizations, please send your suggestions here.
Support Network provides help and hope to survivors of domestic violence.
Sensory Access Foundation assists people who are blind or visually impaired to obtain or retain competitive employment by providing high quality access technology assessment, computer training, job placement and accommodation services.
PACE (Pacific Autism) provides high quality programs for individuals with Autism and associated developmental disabilities living in the Bay Area.
