  Advertising

Placing a print ad or a flyer insert into the Business Progress exposes your business to over 1,000 people in the immediate vicinity, most of whom re Chamber Members who like to do business with other Chamber members. Advertise today!

Business Progress Terms & Policies

1. Submission:  Advertisements must be submitted to Kate Warren at the Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce by the proof deadline of the 15th day of the month for the following month's issue. After the ad is placed, a copy will be sent to the advertiser

 
2. Billing.  Payment in advance is required of all advertisers unless credit is approved by the Chamber. All accounts are due and payable to the Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce upon receipt of invoice and become past due on the 16th day following the date of the invoice.  A 15% service charge will be assessed on all overdue balances. Please note: If payment is not received by the proof deadline, ads will be withheld until payment is received.

 
3. Cancellations.  All advertisers are required to give a written 30-day cancellation notice to the Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce if unable to meet contract obligations.  Cancellations are not acceptable after proof deadlines, which are one week following the ad scheduling deadlines.

 
4. Artwork.  Please provide a high-quality (300dpi) image. Artwork is acceptable by email or on a disk. All artwork must be camera-ready. Please note that we cannot manipualte ads. Use high-density floppy disks, CD or email only.

    -Use proper file extensions when naming artwork (i.e., "logo.jpg" or "logo.tif", respectively.

    -Embed all placed artwork.

    -Convert all font to outlines before saving the file.

    -Make sure dpi is set to 300 before sending file.

    -Make sure ad is sent in the correct dimension according to ad space purchased.

    -We cannot accept PSD or GIF files or ads that have been cread in Microsoft Word

 
5. Deadline.  Ad copy must be submitted to the Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce by the second Friday of the month prior to the desired Issue.  Deadlines may vary due to holidays.

 
6. Contract.  All advertisers must be members of the Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce.

Opportunities

1. Advertising Supplements.  Preprinted inserts ­ which must be unfolded and on 20#, 8.5 x 11" paper ­ are $100 per newsletter issue.  Inserts are limited; reservations are required. Inserts (1000 quantity) must be delivered to the Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce by the specified date of the month prior to the desired edition.  Inserts must be accompanied by and insert agreement and payment.  

2. Member Mailing Labels.  Approximately 730 labels, sorted alphabetically, by zip code, or business category, are available to members for $75.  A request to have the list on an excel spreadsheet via email is $15. Note- The list provided on disk is NOT in label format. A 48-hour notice is required.
